Founded in Brooklyn, NY 2009 by Swedish/American Lydia Kellam.
In addition to a digital resource, The Swede Beat produce evens, cultural programs, club nights, fashion parties, movie screenings and collaborations to spread Swedish awesomness to the world.
The Swede Beat has collaborated with Svenska Institutet, Monki,Kanon Organic Vodka and artists such as Miike Snow, Lykke Li, Korallreven, Taken By Trees, Marcus Price, Kornel Kovacs and more in New York.
The Swede Beat has been either written about or mentioned on CNN, Metro, The Lonely Planet, Dagens Nyheter, Blackbook Magazine and Sofo Magazine. Lydia Kellam has been interviewed by Swedish national radio P3 at three different occasions.
